Puppies are born 23rd June 2005
23rd June - Midsummer night- it is the lightest day of the year in Norway. I didn't have time celebrating this evening since Vilma had decided to deliver her puppies, but I have to say that Vilma gave me the best celebration with her delivery.
She gave birth to five fabulous females ! Their birth weight were 232 - 252 - 278 - 278 - 298 gram. Two of the girls are white with black marks, one is black with a white chest and two are black with white marks. Vilma had again a easy birth and the proud mother and her girls are just fine.

 

 23. juni - på St.Hans aften hadde Vilma bestemt seg for å føde valpene sine, så det ble ingen anledning til vanlig St.Hans feiring, men jeg må si Vilma ga meg den beste feiringen på sin fødsel.
Hun født fem friske ferme flotte frøkner!
Fødselsvektene var på 232 - 252 - 278 - 278 - 298 gram. To av tispene er hvite med sorte tegn, en er sort med hvit bryst og to er sorte med hvite tegn. Vilma hadde igjen en lett fødsel og den stolte mor og jentene hennes har det bare bra.

The puppies are one week old - they are increasing well in weight, their mother cares for them the best way, and it's for me only to enjoy them all.		 1.juli
Valpene er blitt en uke gamle - de øker bra i vekt og stelles etter alle kunstens regler av sin mor, og for meg er det bare å nyte synet av dem alle.

14th July - 3 weeks old 3 uker gamle
The puppies are three weeks old and they have found the "on"-button - In this age it's always amazing  to see their sudden interest for their surroundings, and it's time to expand their area. They do now need more than the first whelping-box and they have got some of their toys.

Valpene er tre uker gamle og de har funnet "på"-knappen - det er alltid like utrolig å oppleve valpenes utvikling. På denne alderen så blir de helt tydelig mer bevist på omgivelsene og de har lyst om å sjekke nye ting. Tiden er inne for å utvide den første valpekassen og de har nå fått sine første leker.

The puppies are so cute in this age. They are full of joy fun and speed and they give us lots of laughter !

Valpene er så søte i denne alderen. De erfulle av glede morsomheter og fart og de gir oss mang en latter !

    

4th August 6 weeks old / 6 uker gamle
It was hard to say who enjoyed this visit of my three youngest nephews most - the puppies or the three boys. From left Erik Andreas, Gunder and Jens Harald with all the puppies and me. International Nordic Champion KaTaYa's Black'n'Beauty "Vilma"  is mated to  International Nordic Champion Schaka-Ta's As-Yan - Thanks to excellent veterinary at the University this combination has been possible.
As-Yan is born in the very first litter under prefix "Schaka-Ta" He was born 20th Mai 1987 and he reached the age of nearly 12 year before he died. As-Yan was an excellent representative for the breed and he had a lovely temper that he passed on to his offspring.
Vilma is inseminated with frozen seem after As-Yan for the second time and it is with great excitement I'm looking forward to these puppies.

Vilma has earlier had three litters- S-litter , U-litter and V-litter. You find more information about these "puppies" under their own pages or under NEWS.
Vilma is a feminine and lovely female with a superb temper -she is both naughty and sweet at the same time - a typical "Tibetan Terrier temperament"

Both As-Yan and Vilma is X-rayed and free of HD - status A, and they are of course eye-examined without marks - Vilma is recently examined and As-Yan was last time examined in the age of 10 year.

 

Internasjonal Nordisk Champion KaTaYa's Black'n'Beauty "Vilma"  er blitt parret med  Internasjonal Nordisk Champion Schaka-Ta's As-Yan - Takket være dyktige veterinærer på Norges Veterinærhøyskole har det latt seg gjøre å ta denne kombinasjonen.
As-Yan er fra det første kullet født under prefixet "Schaka-Ta" Han ble født 20. mai 1987 og han ble nesten 12 år gammel. As-Yan var
en utrolig flott representant for rasen og han hadde et nydelig temperament som han også
ga videre til sine avkom.
